About The Position
A nonexempt position that provides professional nursing care for Imaging Center patients following established standards and practices.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in critical care nursing/emergency nursing and/or 1-year experience in cardiovascular, interventional radiology and/or electrophysiology.
- Current Alaska State Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current ACLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Performs general nursing care to patients.
- Screens patients for appropriate pre-test information.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Ensures priority is given to patients in emergency situations.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.
