About The Position

This role provides routine and acute trauma patient reception in the Imaging Department. Clerical duties at desks and counter and IS systems to order and adjust patient orders in the Meditech HIS/RIS. Schedules patients via CWS and gives verbal and written preparation instructions. Responsible for ensuring all scheduling and computer input is preformed and correct for all Imaging Services, including medical necessity screenings, preauthorization, etc. Assists the Imaging Director, Radiologist, and Radiology PA as directed.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Keyboarding minimum of 50 WPM
Knowledge of 10 key.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; good organizational skills
Ability to comprehend, retain and apply given information
Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Experience in office procedures helpful but not necessary
