About The Position

This PRN Imaging Radiology Technical Assistant position is for Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals currently studying radiology who are eager to gain hands-on experience. The role involves performing routine duties in the daily operation of Radiology Services, including patient transportation, radiographic film development and copying, stocking supplies, and clerical duties.

Requirements

• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)

Responsibilities

• Schedules procedures, maintains medical record information, obtains prescriptions when necessary.
• Escorts or transports patients to and from examination area, assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patient as needed.
• Maintains and ensures availability of supplies and equipment.
• Follows up when necessary with outside films and calls in results.
