Imaging Producer, Music Programming

About The Position

SiriusXM is seeking an Imaging Producer to collaborate with music programmers to create unforgettable audio content, including channel IDs, promos, and interstitial moments that enhance the listening experience and define the unique voice of their channels. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering high-quality audio content that aligns with business objectives and resonates with target audiences. The producer will maintain a deep understanding of content strategy and programming goals, contributing to new initiatives. Collaboration with production and podcast teams is key for successful execution of audio content programs. Responsibilities also include configuring and testing technical production systems, maintaining audio imaging studios and on-air monitoring for quality control, owning imaging and audio production assignments from start to finish, and diagnosing/resolving audio-production, signal-flow, and media-workflow issues.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Expertise in audio and media workflow design, optimization, and automation.
  • Experience in technical production, broadcasting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Media Production Software including Pro Tools, Adobe Audition or similar DAW.
  • Strong understanding of technical production principles, including video and audio signal flow.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment on defined production assignments and select appropriate technical or creative approaches within established procedures and standards.
  • Media Workflow Design and Automation experience.
  • Pro Tools / Adobe Audition / DAW experience.
  • Audio and Video Signal Flow experience.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality audio content that meets business objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our content strategy and programming goals, and contribute to the development of new initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate with production and podcast teams to ensure successful execution of audio content programs.
  • Configure and test technical production systems for optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain audio imaging studio and on-air monitoring to ensure quality control standards across live and pre-recorded radio productions.
  • Own defined imaging and audio production assignments from production through delivery and quality assurance, applying independent judgment within established standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve moderately complex audio-production, signal-flow, and media-workflow issues by evaluating multiple technical and creative factors.
