About The Position

Join our Saint Alphonsus team as an Imaging Patient Care Specialist. This role will perform as a pre-procedural coordinator and support the front desk. Duties will include providing support to imaging modalities performing procedures by coordinating schedules, ensuring prep and recovery requirements are met, and reviewing cases with nurses, APP’s, and Interventional Radiologists. The specialist will also provide patient reception at the check-in desk within the Medical Imaging department by notifying teams of patient arrivals, keeping patients informed of any delays, and providing a healing and supportive environment. Additionally, the role assists the trainer with new staff training, auditing, gathering statistics, ordering materials, and scheduling. The specialist serves as a mentor and role model for new staff, reflecting a positive attitude towards all company policies.

Requirements

Two years of relevant experience required.
One year of experience as a trainer required.
Experience in registration.
Experience in data input accuracy reporting of functionality.

Responsibilities

Perform as a pre-procedural coordinator and support the front desk.
Coordinate schedules for imaging modalities performing procedures.
Ensure prep and recovery requirements are met.
Review cases with nurses, APP’s, and Interventional Radiologists.
Provide patient reception at the check-in desk within the Medical Imaging department.
