About The Position
The Radiology department at Medical Associates is hiring a Part Time Days Imaging Assistant to join our team! This person should have a high attention to detail, enjoy interacting with patients and clinical staff, and be motivated by high-volume and fast-pace work. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am-4pm, working 2-3 shifts per week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Some radiology or health care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Escort and assist patients
- Assist x-ray technologist
- Access patient orders for imaging studies
- Document and track outside patient exams
- Answer telephone calls related to any image requests
- Burn x-ray images to CD or electronically transferring images for outside use
- Fax reports or consents for outside imaging
- Complete all other assigned projects and duties
