Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and a graduate of an accredited paramedic program. Required or LPN – High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited LPN program. Required or 2nd Year Rad Tech – High school diploma or GED Required
- Recent experience in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation Required
- Paramedic Certification Required or LPN license Required or 2nd year Rad Tech Required
- BLS certification Required
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a paramedic or LPN Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides advanced technical, clinical and clerical support within the Imaging department.
- Manages patient flow.
- Conducts patient screening.
- Assists patients during procedures.
- Maintains supplies.
- Supports technologists as needed.
- Includes remote cardiac monitoring for patients undergoing MRI when they are off nursing units.
