About The Position
The Imaging Aide will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of supplies for diagnostic services, coordinating work for maximum productivity and efficiency, and demonstrating correct procedures for patient transport to and from the MRI Department. This role also involves ensuring patient and family privacy while prioritizing patient safety, assisting technologists with general patient care and assessment before, during, and after exams, and aiding technologists with safety screening of patients and staff.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior patient care experience or CNA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance of supplies needed for efficient and effective provision of diagnostic services.
- Coordinate work to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Demonstrate correct procedure for the transport of patients to and from the MRI Department.
- Provide for the privacy of patients and families within the limitations of Imaging Services and keeping the safety of the patient in mind.
- Assist the technologists with general patient care and assessment prior, during and after the exam.
- Assist Technologists with safety screening of patients and staff.
