Imaging Administrator - Remote based in the US
About The Position
The Imaging Administrator serves as the primary technical and operational support resource for all imaging informatics systems across the San Antonio market. This includes Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), voice recognition platforms, critical results management tools, and cardiology imaging applications. This role ensures imaging workflows function efficiently and reliably to support clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care. The Imaging Administrator partners closely with Radiology, Cardiology, clinical departments, vendor support teams, and IS leadership to maintain, optimize, and enhance imaging technology across the enterprise.
Requirements
- Technical and operational support for imaging informatics systems (PACS, RIS, voice recognition, critical results management, cardiology imaging applications).
- Understanding of imaging workflows.
- Knowledge of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration skills with clinical departments and vendor support teams.
- Experience in maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing imaging technology.
