About The Position

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking an Imagery Analyst with knowledge of all exploitation facets of all types of imagery and related FSG products. Candidates should possess a basic knowledge of all imagery types to include Order of Battle, image phenomenology, and basic image processing techniques. As a Mid Imagery Analyst, candidate will guide and support junior analysts in the testing and evaluation of imagery applications.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI (eligible for CI Poly)
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Ability to develop and use more complex concepts and processes.
  • Ability to create display standards for various imagery types via manipulation of ELT display tools.
  • Ability to lead/manage any imagery-related project with no supervision.
  • Experience with image quality tests, assessments, and sensor initializations.
  • Ability to determine what constitutes a properly-displayed image and basic reasons why an image may not be displayed correctly.
  • Ability to design and execute imagery tests/assessments.
  • Works highly independent.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of secure coding best practices and compliance standards (NIST, FedRAMP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with modern software development practices.
  • Experience navigating organizational security processes.
  • Experience developing and delivering contract deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department on a weekly basis.
  • Management of imagery analysis processes and procedures for the team.
  • Establishment of team structure and cadence.
  • Providing metrics, reports, and presentations as requested by the government lead and PM.
  • Work to improve efficiency with team processes.
  • Contribute to team discussions and recommend improvements.
  • Guides and supports junior level personnel.
  • Conduct root cause problem analysis and develop technical solutions to problems.
