About The Position

Performs AQL inspection. Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations. Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services. Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. Maintain a standards cabinet containing approved standards of different types of components. Other duties as assigned Use a variety of tools to test incoming component quality to include analytical equipment such as FTIR to verify material identity (utilizing the compiled library).

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualification achieved via work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good math and technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO READ, WRITE, AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH- SPECIFICATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION ARE IN ENGLISH
  • Ability to train, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in quality control is preferred.
