IHBS Therapist
About The Position
Northeast Family Services (NFS) is seeking Clinicians to join their growing team in Massachusetts. NFS values experience delivering competent mental health services to individuals and families experiencing difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. This role is ideal for a dedicated mental health professional seeking a new opportunity within a rapidly growing and well-regarded organization. The In Home Behavioral Therapist (IHBS) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs. IHBS Therapists support caregivers to better understand their children's needs by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication. Bilingual opportunities are available. This position can be Full Time or Fee-for-Service (FFS) hours.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related CBHI approved degree program
- Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
- Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
- Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred
- Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable
Responsibilities
