What you can expect from the role:
As a Functional Consultant, you will work with internationally oriented medium to large-sized organisations to successfully implement and optimise the IFS Service & Maintenance solution within IFS Cloud. You will help customers transform and improve their service operations, maintenance management, asset lifecycle processes, and field service delivery. If you enjoy delivering complex ERP projects, collaborating with customers, and solving business challenges, then this role is for you.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g., Business, IT, Engineering, or related discipline), equivalent work experience, or relevant professional qualifications.
• US or Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
• Experience working with IFS Cloud in a consulting role or as a key business user.
• Proven experience implementing or supporting IFS Service & Maintenance, Field Service Management, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or related solutions.
• Industry experience in one or more of the following sectors: Service Industries, Utilities, Energy, Construction & Engineering, Aerospace & Defence, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, or Asset-Intensive Organisations.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and service business processes, including preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, work management, service contracts, field service operations, and asset lifecycle management.
• A genuine interest in how technology and ERP systems can optimise service delivery, maintenance efficiency, and asset performance.
• Commercial awareness, strong business acumen, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Flexibility and creativity in identifying and presenting alternative solutions.
• Self-motivated and willing to go beyond expectations to deliver value for customers.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within project teams.
• Strong time management, organisational, and documentation skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and address challenges before they escalate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Specific domain knowledge in the Service & Maintenance business area, including work orders, preventive maintenance, asset management, field service management, and service contracts.
• Understanding customer business needs and guiding them in the most effective use of IFS Cloud Service & Maintenance capabilities and related products.
• Identifying and bridging the gap between customer business requirements and IFS solutions.
• Conducting customer workshops, training sessions, and solution demonstrations.
• Leading and owning solution design, configuration, and scope definition within the Service & Maintenance stream.
• Guiding customers through testing activities, user acceptance testing, and Go Live preparation.
• Understanding customer business processes, industry challenges, and operational requirements related to service delivery and asset maintenance.
• Acting as a trusted advisor by recommending best practices and challenging existing processes where appropriate.
• Providing a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Developing and maintaining deep knowledge of service management, maintenance operations, asset performance, and related business processes.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies within service and asset management.
• Managing, coaching, and mentoring junior consultants and project team members.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of Arcwide and IFS methodologies, accelerators, and implementation approaches.
• Confidently designing solutions, advising customers, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Enjoying the balance between understanding strategic business objectives and working through detailed functional requirements to deliver the best possible solution.

Benefits

• Competitive Salary - We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward both individual contributions and company success. For this role, the anticipated base salary falls within a range of $60,000–$150,000 USD annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Compensation may vary for employees outside of the United States based on local market conditions, currency exchange rates, and regional compensation structures. For highly experienced candidates, total compensation may be adjusted commensurate with skills and experience.
