About The Position

Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) is seeking an IEP Facilitator for Stemmers Run Middle School. This role provides leadership, guidance, and support to ensure compliance with State and Federal requirements, including the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as well as BCPS expectations. The facilitator will organize and lead IEP team meetings, regularly review IEP files, deliver professional development to school staff, and work closely with special education administrators. A key aspect of the role is supporting teams in using data to understand student challenges, strengths, and needs. The position also involves collaboration with the Department of Special Education (DSE) and the Office of Compliance to provide necessary information and data for assigned schools. Requirements
