About The Position

The IEP Auditor will work closely with departmental leaders to perform internal and special audits in compliance with the CommuteAir Internal Evaluation Program Manual. This role is responsible for auditing Part 121 airline operations and/or safety/quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Professional background in aviation with a combination of education and work history.
  • Experience in Part 121 airline operations and/or experience in safety/quality assurance programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; team player.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA.

Nice To Haves

  • Auditors without the preferred experience (above) may be subjected to additional On-the-Job training to gain more experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform internal audits, as scheduled and within the scope of the IEP
  • Perform special audits, as tasked by the IEP Manager, in response to identified trends or concerns for which management has requested an independent analysis and surveillance of programs for further review
  • Prepare audit reports to summarize observations and findings, issuing and managing corrective actions, as necessary
  • Assist the IEP Manager in maintaining the IEP database and tracker(s)
  • Assist the IEP Manager in tracking audit findings and corrective action tasks/deadlines to ensure adequate, thorough correction
  • Coordinate with the IEP Manager and departmental leaders to plan and manage the audit schedule
  • Support the IEP during external audits conduct against CommuteAir
  • IEP Auditors shall be trained and maintain currency in accordance with the CommuteAir Internal Evaluation Program Manual.
  • Regular attendance is essential for all positions at CommuteAir.
