About The Position

The basic function of this role within the MOWP is to develop planned job packages for maintenance repair work and improvement projects based on priorities established by the gatekeeper. The job must satisfy the notification scope and include all materials, services, resources and appropriate scheduling logic between individual operations or tasks.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Typically, 5+ years experience in the field of Instrumentation/ Electrical
Must be proficient in reading P&IDs, electrical one-line diagrams and wiring schematics
Must be familiar with the requirements of the National Electric Code (NEC)
Must have the ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods to customers, management and vendors
Experience with accomplishing work within required timelines, including short, long and emergency timeframes
Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and Documentum

Responsibilities

Providing necessary planning information that ensures safe and efficient execution of critical priority 1 and 2 jobs
Participating in the management of the notification and work order backlog
Changing notification(s) to orders
Building or copying job plans
Participating in bidding process and requisitioning for third party services
Routing high cost orders through the Production Maintenance Coordinator for verification that work order provides appropriate return on investment relative to the current business environment
Forwarding job packages to the Maintenance Supervisor
Soliciting feedback on executed jobs plans and making any necessary changes to ensure planning and work efficiencies continue to improve
Writing necessary change orders for third party services upon job completion
