About The Position

The Information Digital Technology & Security (IDTS) Career Foundation Program (CFP) is a two-year rotational program designed to provide participants with diverse experiences across various Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) skill areas. These areas include software and application development for cloud, product management, data science and analytics, information security, cloud infrastructure operations, and product lifecycle management. Beyond the four distinct role rotations, participants engage in unique development opportunities such as technical training, annual team events, executive roundtables, and mentoring. The program also offers opportunities to lead committees responsible for organizing these events, fostering leadership and organizational skills. IDT&S is crucial for supporting all aspects of The Boeing Company's business, responsible for designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining the computing and telecommunications infrastructure. This involves developing and sustaining product systems in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier Management organizations. IDT&S also establishes common processes, standards, and procedures for information usage, protection, sharing, and compliance with regulatory obligations. The IDTS CFP is a key investment in people, offering hands-on, experiential challenges and responsibilities that shape participants and the future of IDT&S at Boeing. Participants work under the guidance of technology professionals, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of technological solutions for the business, partners, and customers. Rotational assignments are structured to allow participants to apply and expand their skills, building a strong foundation for their careers at Boeing. Expected outcomes include a holistic view of the company through cross-business unit rotations, active participation in development activities, expanded career opportunities and networks, and preparation for advanced technical and leadership roles at an accelerated pace.
