This role reports to the IP Prosecution Manager Position Summary Great opportunity for an experienced Patent and Information Disclosure Statement (IDS) Specialist. We are seeking an IDS Specialist to join our Intellectual Property Prosecution team in Boston. This administrative role focuses on the preparation and filing of Information Disclosure Statements (IDS) with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and supports attorneys and other legal team members in meeting U.S. and foreign disclosure obligations. The IDS Specialist will manage all aspects of IDS preparation and filing, including reviewing worldwide patent families and Office Actions for cited references, preparing formal IDS documents, coordinating attorney review, and tracking related deadlines. The role involves close collaboration with attorneys, patent professionals, and docketing staff, as well as organizing, backfilling, and maintaining IDS citation records in the Anaqua database. This position is well suited for a patent support professional with at least one year of experience who is interested in continuing a specialization in IDS practice. Candidates with additional experience, as well as candidates with at least one year of experience in a field that demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills, are encouraged to apply.
