About The Position

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is seeking an Identity and Access Management Analyst to join their Technology Engineering team. This role is part of the Identity and Access Management Operations group, which manages the lifecycle of human and service accounts with access to various systems. The selected colleague will support the Vice President, overseeing work assignments, monitoring progress, ensuring quality, and providing backup. The role also involves direct access management activities within the Applications Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security best practices like least privilege and access governance, demonstrate ownership, transparency, and sound judgment, be self-motivated to prioritize and deliver results, and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Information Security, or Technology Operations.
  • Prior experience in ticketing and queue management.
  • Moderate Excel skills for data analysis, including macros, scripting, or formula experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both written and spoken English, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with IAM tools, ServiceNow, Identity Governance Administration (IGA), Active Directory, Microsoft Azure and PAM platforms.
  • Previous customer service skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Proven experience working with integrity, accountability, and a strong risk mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with working with and providing direction to third party offshore service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned provisioning and deprovisioning tasks within department required timeframes.
  • Assist VP with assigning and monitoring tickets when needed.
  • Assist Application Administrators by answering questions and providing training when needed.
  • Lead parts or all of Application weekly meetings when requested.
  • Monitor third-party schedules as backup to the Vice President.
  • Respond to Sr Leadership issues/escalations when requested or as backup to Vice President.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to update SOP or Playbook errors and inform the team of changes.
  • Support ticket escalations by working closely with managers and security administrators to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support onboarding of new applications and platforms into IAM operational processes.
  • Liaise with Support Models: Experience working with and providing direction to global teams, offshore support models, and vendor-managed services.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and evidence collection activities; including Live demonstrations.
  • Partner with technology and business teams to resolve access-related issues and minimize operational disruption.
  • Ensure timely execution of user provisioning, access modifications, deprovisioning, and access reviews in accordance with established service levels and security policies.
