About The Position

The Identity and Access Analyst ensures that only authorized individuals have secure access to the organization’s systems and data. This role manages the digital user lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding. The Identity & Access Analyst works closely with the Information Technology team and departments across the enterprise to communicate IAM services, highlight IAM-related risks, and propose solutions to business control issues. This role is also responsible for fulfilling role-based access requests and ensuring alignment with IAM requirements. Additionally, the analyst monitors and reports on findings related to non-compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Technology or related fields or a minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Broad technical understanding and at least 5 years of experience with current IAM technologies utilized in the financial services industry or equivalent work experience is preferred
  • Experience working closely with internal and external audit partners
  • Firm understanding of RBAC and ability to implement
  • Analytical/ problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong facilitation skills and a clear ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders at all levels, including senior managers and third parties

Responsibilities

  • Grant, modify, and revoke system and application access based on the principle of least privilege.
  • Manage onboarding, transfers, leaves of absence, and terminations to ensure user accounts and permissions remain accurate as role status changes.
  • Design and execute periodic access reviews and audits to ensure user entitlements comply with regulations, policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Support the IAM ticket queue, resolving issues related to access, authentication, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard new applications and configure federated identity protocols.
