About The Position

The Ideation & Sales Planning Manager is responsible for leading the development, execution, and optimization of integrated advertising campaigns across Audio, Digital, Social, Video, and Experiential platforms. This role partners closely with Network Audio Sales, Digital Sales, Business Development, and Strategy teams to create insight-driven solutions that meet client objectives, maximize revenue opportunities, and deliver exceptional campaign results.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of media industry experience, including at least 5 years in sales marketing, ideation, and campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of Audio, Digital, Social, Podcasting, and cross-platform media solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management, and sales support.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify monetization opportunities and proactively solve execution challenges.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of Spanish-language media and content ecosystems.
  • Ability to work from the TelevisaUnivision office in New York, NY.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish fluency and/or multicultural marketing experience.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills; Keynote experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development of creative, storytelling-driven sales proposals and integrated marketing solutions.
  • Manage campaigns from concept through execution, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the Network Audio team in high-level client presentations, planning sessions, and production meetings.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Strategy & Insights, Local Media, Digital, and Business Development teams.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to project managers while fostering category expertise.
  • Oversee production logistics, sponsorship fulfillment, approvals, recaps, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Identify and resolve campaign challenges, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Prioritize team workflows and optimize operational processes.
  • Develop and revise sales proposals using Counterpoint and related planning tools.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for agencies and buyers regarding plan changes and campaign updates.
  • Generate innovative integration concepts that strengthen advertiser partnerships.
  • Prepare sales documentation, including upfront and scatter order materials.
  • Ensure successful stewardship of cross-platform campaigns and revenue-generating initiatives.
