Implements and/or monitors programs and services recommended and developed by Occupational and/or Physical Therapists. These services include direct services as well as monitoring of adaptive equipment, wheelchairs, etc. Monitors consistent program implementation and staff competence in generic communication services such as general sign language skills and interaction skills. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year experience working with the population supported.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
• Must be able to talk and hear.
• Complete criminal background
• Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
• Drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.

Nice To Haves

• College training and/or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities
