About The Position
This is a Travel ICU RN assignment at a 377-bed Magnet Level II Trauma hospital located in Mission Hills, CA. The ICU is a high-acuity unit that cares for patients with complex conditions including cardiovascular, neuro, trauma, STEMI, stroke, CABG/valve replacement, CRRT, sepsis, surgical, and multi-trauma cases such as gunshot wounds and MVAs. The unit is a thrombectomy-capable stroke center and is equipped with 24 ICU beds plus 12 overflow beds.
Requirements
- RN license
- Experience in a high-acuity ICU
- Experience with cardiovascular, neuro, trauma, STEMI, stroke, CABG/valve replacement, CRRT, sepsis, surgical, and multi-trauma patients
- Proficiency in ventilator management
- Proficiency with vasoactive drips
- Experience with arterial lines
- Experience with central lines
- Experience with chest tubes
- Experience with post-cardiac surgery care
- Experience with neuro assessments
- Experience with stroke management
- Experience with sedation management
- Experience with CRRT
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias
- Experience with bedside cardiac/GI procedures for unstable patients
