About The Position
This role involves providing critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, closely monitoring vital signs and operating advanced medical equipment. Additionally, this involves administering medications, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding rapidly to changes in a patient’s condition. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compassionate care in high-pressure environments.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience
- Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
- BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association; NIHSS required
- VA or Compact License in hand at the time of submittal
- EPIC Charting Proficiency Experience Required
- Strong neuro experience required (post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke)
- Vents
- IV drip titration
- Telemetry monitoring
- Conscious Sedation
- Dysrhythmia and emergency management
Nice To Haves
- Trauma Level I Experience Preferred
- Trauma Level II Experience Preferred
- 3 years of Critical Care experience preferred, will consider strong candidates with less than 3 years
- Travel experience preferred
