About The Position

Join a fast-paced Medical ICU with a total of 30 beds, specializing in the treatment of critically ill patients. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care for a diverse patient population including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, alcohol use disorder, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong knowledge of critical care practices and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including ventilators and continuous infusion devices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
