The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to critically ill and medically complex patients. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. The RN demonstrates sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and compassion while delivering care consistent with hospital policies, evidence-based practice, and professional nursing standards.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
  • Proficiency in assessing, monitoring, and responding to changes in patient condition
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
  • Strong collaboration skills with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Skill in safe medication administration and monitoring patient response
  • Competence in patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
  • Ability to delegate appropriately while ensuring quality care
  • Proficiency in accurate and timely documentation
  • Commitment to participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development
  • Ability to support a culture of teamwork, safety, and exceptional patient care

Responsibilities
