About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced medical intensive care unit. The unit is equipped with 30 beds and serves a diverse patient population with complex medical conditions, including but not limited to: Sepsis Heart Failure Hypertensive Emergency Respiratory Failure COPD Chronic Kidney Disease Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Alcohol Use/Awareness Substance Abuse Status Epilepticus Encephalopathy.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in an ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while conducting therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Utilize advanced technological systems, including ventilators and other therapeutic devices, to support patient recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the education and support of patients and their families regarding health issues and treatment plans.
