About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, 30-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role involves providing critical care to a diverse patient population facing severe medical conditions, including but not limited to: Sepsis Heart Failure Hypertensive Emergency Respiratory Failure Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Chronic Kidney Disease Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2) Alcohol Use/Awareness and Substance Abuse Status Epilepticus Encephalopathy

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU or similar fast-paced medical environment.
• Current certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Proficient in managing ventilators and other critical care equipment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick decisions in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions to ensure appropriate treatment and interventions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare providers.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Educating patients and families about health conditions and discharge planning.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
