About The Position
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU), which boasts 30 beds dedicated to managing critically ill patients. The patient population includes a diverse range of medical conditions such as: Sepsis Heart failure Hypertensive emergencies Respiratory failure Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) Chronic kidney disease Type 2 diabetes mellitus (TDM2) Alcohol use and abuse Substance abuse Status epilepticus Encephalopathy
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients.
- Utilizing advanced monitoring equipment, including ventilators.
- Conducting thorough assessments and implementing care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participating in patient education and discharge planning.
