About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in a fast-paced 30-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit. The unit specializes in treating a diverse patient population, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, alcohol and substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an intensive care or critical care setting.
• Experience with ventilator management and advanced monitoring systems.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care setting.
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment and adjust care as necessary.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as per protocols.
• Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation of patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators and monitors to optimize patient care.
• Support patients and families through education and emotional support during critical illness.
