About The Position

Join a fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) that offers 30 beds and specializes in the treatment of critically ill patients. The patient population includes individuals suffering from sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes mellitus, alcohol use/abuse, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
• Proven ability to manage complex patient conditions and provide critical care nursing.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ventilator management and other critical care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Administer and monitor ventilator support and other advanced medical interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform regular assessments of patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in status.
• Utilize advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) techniques in emergency situations.
• Educate patients and families on health management and necessary interventions.
