The Fiber Optics Instructor is responsible for delivering hands-on and classroom-based training utilizing the Light Brigade Fiber Optics 1-2-3 curriculum. This position prepares students for careers in telecommunications, broadband infrastructure, data centers, and network construction by teaching fiber optic installation, fusion splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and industry safety practices. The instructor will create an engaging learning environment that supports student success and workforce readiness. Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support student recruitment efforts by participating in outreach events, information sessions, career fairs, enrollment workshops, and community partner engagements. Serve as a program ambassador by promoting careers in fiber optics, broadband, telecommunications, and related industries. Collaborate with enrollment specialists and career coaches to support student enrollment, retention, and completion goals. Maintain flexibility to deliver instruction during daytime, evening, and occasional weekend schedules based on program and student needs.
