About The Position

This role involves collecting money for general admission and working in food service, admissions, and retail operations. The position is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility, including sanitizing high-contact areas like locker rooms, bathrooms, and benches. Maintenance and upkeep of the facility and related equipment are also required. Mechanical aptitude and strong people skills are highly desirable. Responsibilities may include serving as a rink attendant, ensuring the safety and well-being of skaters, and enforcing rink rules. Additionally, the role may involve scorekeeping for adult hockey games and answering the facility telephone to provide public information. The ability to follow written and oral instructions is essential.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
Experience in operating a cash register.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

Strong people skills.
Basic knowledge in principles of recreational facility activities, with some college course.
