About The Position
Técnico Special Inspection Agency is a registered class 1 special inspection agency providing TR1, TR2, TR4, TR5, and TR8 inspections. We are seeking qualified field inspectors to join our team. The work focuses primarily on high-profile projects throughout the New York City metro area.
Requirements
- Currently certified as ACI Level II or ICC Reinforced Concrete Inspector.
- Familiar with NYC Building Code.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of construction, inspection experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related education or industry experience.
- Additional national certifications such as ICC, CWI license or certification: Structural Steel and Bolting, Special Inspection Masonry Field Testing Technician, ICC Mechanical inspector.
Responsibilities
- Observe work for conformance with plans and specifications of drawings, design documents, and building codes.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction plans & specs.
- Must be able to prepare and submit timely and accurate field inspection reports.
