About The Position

GDIT has an opportunity for a SailPoint IdentityIQ Developer supporting a large line of business that delivers enterprise-scale Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities. This role supports the DoW E-ICAM mission by designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Identity Data Management capabilities that enable identity services to operate across enterprise, mission partner, tactical, and edge environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on SailPoint developer with strong experience in Java, BeanShell, SQL, and other technologies used to build and customize IdentityIQ components. This role is heavily development‑oriented and includes working with workflows, rules, connectors, forms, and application onboarding. This position is a Remote role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of an active Secret security clearance.
  • 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher).
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting java based software development efforts preferably Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Identity Data Management, or ICAM solutions within government or regulated environments
  • Strong experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or equivalent Identity Governance platforms.
  • Experience integrating identity platforms with Active Directory, LDAP directories, HR systems, enterprise applications, and authoritative data sources.
  • Experience supporting identity lifecycle management, access certifications, entitlement governance, role modeling, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
  • Experience supporting identity correlation, identity reconciliation, identity aggregation, and identity data quality management.
  • Experience designing or supporting identity services in distributed, federated, or mission-partner environments.
  • Experience with Java, BeanShell, XML, REST APIs, LDAP queries, or similar technologies used to support identity platforms.
  • Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
  • Experience deploying and supporting enterprise COTS products in secure customer environments.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and utilizing associated tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ custom development, workflows, rules, forms, connectors, and provisioning integrations.
  • Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ 8.x or later.
  • Familiarity with IdentityIQ best practices around performance tuning, connector optimization, and task design.
  • Experience developing integrations using APIs or message-based architectures.
  • Experience with enterprise reporting or analytics built on identity data.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and identity-centric security architecture.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with other IAM tools (e.g., Radiant Logic, Ping, ForgeRock).
  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and governance capabilities using identity data.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ components including workflows, rules, certifications, connectors, and provisioning integrations.
  • Customize IdentityIQ using Java, BeanShell, XML, and SailPoint’s plugin framework.
  • Build and maintain integrations between authoritative data sources, directories, HR systems, and target applications.
  • Support all aspects of the identity lifecycle (Joiner, Mover, Leaver), access request workflows, approval processes, certifications, and entitlement governance.
  • Create and update application onboarding configurations, aggregation jobs, provisioning policies, and role models.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to provisioning, aggregation, identity correlation, tasks, and entitlements.
  • Develop technical documentation including design specifications, configuration guides, SOPs, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IdentityIQ solutions support enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Actively manage technical risks and contribute to mission readiness objectives.
