About The Position

The Role
An IBM InfoSphere DataStage Developer with expertise in building and optimizing ETL/ELT workflows, frameworks, and SQL scripts to ensure efficient data integration and accurate reporting. Skilled in automating deployments, improving monitoring, and troubleshooting pipeline issues while collaborating with QA and business teams to validate data and resolve defects. An IBM Certified DataStage Developer, experienced in delivering scalable, high-performance solutions for complex enterprise data platforms.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage Development
• ETL/ELT experience.
• Strong expertise in Supra, IBM z/OS, COBOL, JCL, and CICS
• Experience supporting legacy systems and modernization initiatives
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience leading or mentoring DBA teams
• Exposure to modernization or migration programs
• Familiarity with financial services environments
• Knowledge of automation or scripting within mainframe environments
• Relevant certifications in database or mainframe technologies

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain databases on IBM mainframe systems
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including capacity planning
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Oversee database security, access controls, and compliance requirements
• Provide technical support and guidance to application teams using Supra
