About The Position

The IATF System Administrator is responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and auditing of the Quality Management System for Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS) Industrial Americas, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Americas , and ServicePLUS locations in North America. Coordination of product and process audits at the Logistics Center Americas (LCA) as well as supporting the SCMA Quality Manager for management process internal audits at all locations. Supports investigation and corrective actions for LCA related customer complaints. Serves as process back up for the LCA Quality Document resource.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience within Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Quality management system
  • Experience in reading and understanding part drawings and specifications required
  • Working knowledge of root cause analysis including related methodologies such as: Ishikawa, 5 Why, 8D, PDCA Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin, and Cause-Effect Diagrams
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required
  • All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee or Refugee.

Nice To Haves

  • Internal auditor certification (ex. ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, or AS9100D) preferred but can obtain in first 6 months in the new role
  • Experience working in a distribution, manufacturing and/or lean systems environment a plus
  • Experience of understanding and effective use of AIAG Core Tools preferred
  • Experience in sealing applications, rubber, and/or plastics production a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, development and maintenance of IATF documentation in support of annual audit schedules at TSS Industrial Americas, SCM Americas and ServicePLUS locations.
  • Manage internal product and process audits through planning and execution of weekly audits at SCM LCA.
  • Provide training and answer inquiries from team members on the proper collection of documentation requirements.
  • Problem solving, corrective action and preventive action for assigned customer complaints releated to LCA warehouse errors.
  • Dock audits for assigned customers in support of defect containment.
  • Collect and prepare data for end of month quality metrics and site performance.
