This is a remote position for an IAM Engineer. The role involves participating in IAM projects and initiatives, collaborating with other engineers, analysts, and managers to deliver high-quality IAM solutions. The engineer will assist in resolving project issues, managing work plans, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget according to Advocate Health standards. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions using tools like Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, etc. The role also involves testing, validation, quality assurance, monitoring, and auditing of IAM systems, generating performance and compliance reports, and responding to alarms and incidents. Troubleshooting access and permissions issues, managing the identity lifecycle, performing access reviews, and providing support for audits and compliance are also crucial. The engineer will provide technical support on IAM matters, develop and report on metrics, document policies and procedures, and analyze and resolve IAM issues with root cause analysis. Collaboration with application owners and business stakeholders to gather requirements, acting as a customer liaison, and analyzing data based on end-user requirements are expected. Identifying and remediating IAM vulnerabilities, supporting security/access records, and performing process improvements are also part of the role. The engineer will serve as an escalation point for application teams and a contact for audits, maintaining knowledge of relevant technologies and researching new IAM technologies and best practices. Contributing to team efforts through knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring junior team members is also required.
