IAM Business Systems Analyst – Multiple Positions 12+ months contract 100% remote
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience as a systems analyst, 3–5+ years of IAM experience in medium to large enterprise environments.
Deep knowledge of IAM concepts: Authentication, authorization, provisioning, federation, and identity lifecycle management.
Access certification & governance: Familiarity with access reviews, role-based access control (RBAC), and least privilege principles.
Integration experience: With enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and APIs.
Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Experience with ticketing and ITSM tools: ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.
Requirements gathering and gap analysis for access controls.
Experience in compliance & regulatory environments: SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS.
Working closely with HR, security, app owners, and compliance teams.
Writing access control policies, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall for IAM-related projects.
Responsibilities
Work with business and IT stakeholders to analyze access needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Document use cases, functional specifications, and system workflows related to identity governance and access control.
Assist with the implementation, integration, and support of IAM tools (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, AD etc….).
Document requirements to configure identity connectors and support integrations with applications and directories (LDAP, Active Directory, cloud services, etc.).
Develop and execute test plans to ensure IAM functionality meets requirements.
Perform UAT support, regression testing, and validation for IAM deployments and upgrades.
Assist in conducting access reviews, certification campaigns, and audit reporting to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
Recommend and implement improvements to streamline workflows, enhance security, and improve the user experience.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and user guides related to IAM processes.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, HR, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of identity services across platforms.
Participate in IAM project initiatives, upgrades, and system migrations.
