About The Position
This is a progressionary position for an I&E Specialist in Maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting electrical systems throughout the plant, maintaining electrical equipment through PM procedures, and assisting in the implementation of new control systems. The specialist will also research and develop improved controls and electrical processes, track and resolve recurring problems, and identify and fix weaknesses in electrical systems. Training operators and maintenance technicians on equipment operations and troubleshooting is also a key responsibility. The goal is to assist maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient production operations.
Requirements
- Industrial electrical experience
- Extensive schematic reading capability
- PLC coding/troubleshooting
- Allen Bradley
- Square D
Nice To Haves
- Any and all other electrical certifications
- Technical college and/or manufacturing certifications
- 3-5 years documented experience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant
- Help maintain electrical equipment through PM procedures
- Assist in instituting new control systems
- Research and develop better controls and electrical processes
- Track and monitor reoccurring problems and provide solutions to correct these problems
- Identify weakness in the equipment related to electrical systems and develop solutions
- Understand the technical functionality on electrical equipment and be able to train operators and maintenance technicians on the operations and troubleshooting of equipment
- Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
