About The Position

The Measurement Technician I will perform routine activities that support the installation, maintenance, and repair of measurement equipment including meters, remote terminal units (RTUs), instrumentation as well as telemetry equipment across PennEnergy. This position will perform work on well pads, pipelines, dehydration, compression, and metering stations.

Requirements

Solid mechanical skills and general knowledge of basic electricity/electronics
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and applicable industry programs
Must provide own transportation and be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle.
2+ years applicable mechanical work experience

Responsibilities

Assist with new meter installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for measurement related problems.
Assist with the maintenance and operation of flow on computers and primary devices.
Maintain required meter calibration and sampling that adheres to company and industry standards.
Perform plate changes and general maintenance of primary devices.
Monitor measurement and gas quality at assigned meter sites.
Installs and maintains telemetry equipment.
Assist with and provide reports on gas volume discrepancies.
Assist in the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of all facilities.
Inspect and troubleshoot well site automation and communication equipment.
