Requirements

  • Knowledge of automotive glass installation, repair techniques, and auto body repair processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices related to glass replacement and accessory installation.
  • Experience handling glass materials safely, including heavy lifting techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures is a plus.
  • Basic auto estimating skills for assessing damage and preparing repair quotes are advantageous.
  • Prior experience operating company vehicles responsibly in compliance with safety standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform auto glass replacement and repair using manual cutting tools, power tools, and specialized fitting techniques to ensure precise installation.
  • Install and service vehicle accessories such as window tinting, trim, and other aftermarket parts with attention to detail.
  • Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations following glass replacement or repair to maintain vehicle safety features.
  • Handle glass materials safely, including heavy lifting and proper storage of automotive glass components.
  • Utilize auto estimating software to assess damage, prepare repair estimates, and communicate with customers about service procedures.
  • Operate company vehicles responsibly for transporting tools and parts between job sites while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly handling glass materials, using hand tools safely, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Assist with auto body repairs when necessary, including minor dent removal or panel alignment to support comprehensive vehicle restoration.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.
  • Follow all safety guidelines related to power tool operation, glass handling, and vehicle maintenance procedures to promote a safe working environment.
