Controls and Instrumentation Technician responsible for all instrumentation and controls and maintaining of systems for the district energy plants producing steam and chilled water and its energy transfer stations. This role involves process control instrumentation maintenance and programming of the distributed control system and its peripherals, working extensively with Emerson DeltaV, Allen-Bradley PLCs and other types of logic controllers. The technician will inspect, test, adjust, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems. They will also plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance work orders, review them for completeness, and reconcile them with contractor invoices. Additionally, the role involves issuing KPI reports from the process control Delta V historian and programming and tuning process control loops, including PID and 'cascade' control loops.
