About The Position

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an I&C Engineer opportunity to support the Savannah River Site. This role involves providing support engineering services, including engineering analysis, design development, and the generation of design output documents. These documents consist of P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, setpoint lists, instrument and control valve specifications, DCS and PLC design, instrument location and installation design, panel layouts, and vendor document review.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&C Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.
• Five (5) years’ design experience in the nuclear or chemical process industry.
• Must demonstrate design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
• Must have the ability to walk-down of systems in the field.
• Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

• 2D MicroStation Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
