About The Position
OLH Inc. is seeking an I&C Engineer to provide support engineering services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams. This role involves engineering analysis, walk downs, design development, and the generation of various design output documents. The engineer will work using SRNS processes and procedures, with programmatic guidance provided by SRR. Occasional travel to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations may be required.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or I&C Engineering, OR current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.
- Five (5) years of design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.
- Design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
- Ability to walk down systems in the field.
- US Citizenship Required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in 2D MicroStation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
Responsibilities
- Provide support engineering services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams.
- Perform engineering analysis.
- Conduct walk downs.
- Develop designs.
- Generate design output documents including P&IDs, Control Logics, Loop Diagrams, Instrument Indices, Setpoint Lists, Instrument and Control Valve Specifications, DCS and PLC Design, Instrument Location and Installation Design, and Panel Layouts.
- Review vendor documents.
- Travel off Site to interface with vendors, fabricators and other Engineering organizations.
- Provide engineering services using SRR processes and procedures.
