About The Position

Verto People is recruiting an I&C Engineer to provide owner-side technical oversight on a power generation project. You’ll review instrumentation and controls designs, coordinate with engineering and site teams, and help resolve technical issues throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience within power or process plants.
• Practical experience with distributed control systems and turbine control integration.
• Working knowledge of ISA standards and functional safety.
• Confidence reviewing technical documentation and coordinating with contractors and site teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous owner-side engineering experience
• Professional engineering registration
• Familiarity with digital engineering documentation tools

Responsibilities

• Review control system architecture, instrument specifications and design documentation.
• Assess control narratives, logic diagrams and alarm arrangements.
• Check integration between turbine controls and plant control systems.
• Review designs for fire and gas detection systems.
• Evaluate design changes and respond to technical queries from site.
• Monitor engineering deliverables against project schedules.
• Confirm storage and preservation requirements for instrumentation.
