This role is for individuals who excel at diagnosing and solving complex vehicle issues, rather than just replacing parts. The ideal candidate will work with cutting-edge vehicle technology, including hybrid and EV systems, and contribute to a high-performance shop environment. The position emphasizes precision, technology, and customer confidence, aiming to build an elite service team. Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle concerns, including drivability, electrical, hybrid, EV, engine, transmission, and ADAS issues, while adhering to Hyundai factory standards and delivering high-quality repair documentation. The role also involves mentoring other technicians and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer trust.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Hyundai dealership experience required.
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and drivability expertise.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to excellence.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Hyundai certifications are highly valued.
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is a plus.
- ASE Certifications are welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing complex drivability, electrical, hybrid, EV, engine, transmission, and ADAS concerns with confidence.
- Performing repairs that meet or exceed Hyundai factory standards.
- Leveraging Hyundai GDS/GDS-M, factory service information, and advanced diagnostic strategies to solve challenging issues.
- Completing warranty, maintenance, and customer-pay repairs efficiently without sacrificing quality.
- Delivering detailed repair documentation that reflects true professional craftsmanship.
- Mentoring fellow technicians and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Helping create an ownership experience that earns lifelong customer trust.
