Berman Hyundai is seeking an experienced Hyundai Journeyman Technician (Union - Local 701) to join our growing service team. Requirements
- ASE Certified
- Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties of an automotive technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards
- Accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools
- Document repair orders thoroughly and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians
- Stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins
