About The Position

We are seeking experienced Hyundai, Genesis, or Kia technicians, as well as motivated trainees, to join our team. We have been servicing Hyundai vehicles longer than anyone else in New York State and require more technicians to meet the demand. This is an opportunity for those tired of inconsistent pay, parts delays, and inefficient work distribution. We offer a comfortable working environment with steady service volume, fair dispatching, factory diagnostic equipment, and an organized on-site parts department. The shop is family-owned and operated, with a long-standing presence in the community.

Requirements

• Experience as a Hyundai, Genesis, or Kia technician, or a strong work ethic and willingness to learn for trainee positions.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Ioniq 5/6, GV60, GV70/80, EV6, Theta, and Smartstream.
• Possession of ASE or factory certifications (preferred for experienced track).
• Clean driver's license.
• Own tools and toolbox.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Comfortable using tablets and Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
• Willingness to undergo paid OEM training for Hyundai and Genesis.
• Willingness to obtain EV and hybrid certification.

Nice To Haves

• NYS Inspector license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Hyundai and Genesis vehicles.
• Utilize factory diagnostic equipment and scan tools (GDS, J2534).
• Work with an organized parts department to ensure parts availability.
• Adhere to a fair dispatch system for work distribution.
• Participate in Saturday rotations.
• Utilize tablets and DMS for work orders and diagnostics.
• Obtain and maintain NYS Inspector license (company will pay if not currently held).
