About The Position

Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician/provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Training in one of the following medical professions: Respiratory Therapy or Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) or Emergency Medical Technology.
• 2 years of healthcare experience
• BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification through AHA
• Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure, EMT - Emergency Medical Tech, CHT - Certification in Hyperbaric Technology, CST - Certified Surgical Technologist, or Other CHT qualifying certification
• Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
• Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 180 Days

Nice To Haves

• Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
• Emergency Medical Technician
• Certified Hyperbaric Technologist
• Surgical Technologist
